Voluntary Recall of Pressurized Steam Generator Irons We would like to inform you that we, Versuni, are going to perform a voluntary recall on end consumer level in some countries in Asia-pacific, including Malaysia, starting Nov 12, 2024. This recall is focused on a specific date code of Philips PSG8030/20, PSG8130/80 and PSG9050/26 pressurized steam generator irons sold in Malaysia. Per the date of this report from this batch five incidents have been reported to Versuni, none of which from Malaysia. The cause of the incidents was that the welding seam of the boiler split open along the welding seam of the boiler which generates the steam due to a manufacturing issue, leading to two minor injuries. The products were all from the same range of date codes. As a responsible company, Versuni considers the safety of the users of its products of utmost importance. This means that we will perform a voluntary recall of the three model numbers mentioned above from retailers and consumers. This recall will be limited to the specific date codes 2421, 2422 and 2423 (YYWW, eg 2421 is week 21 of 2024), a total of 1583 sold by Versuni in Malaysia. We will reach out to the consumers by means of social media and direct e-mails and we will request our retailers to reach out to known consumers directly. We will replace the affected pressurized steam generator irons with an equivalent product or refund the consumer for the amount paid for the product. |

Voluntary Recall of a Battery Pack We would like to inform you that we, Versuni, are going to perform a voluntary recall on end consumer level in some countries in Europe and in Asia-Pacific, including Malaysia, starting Wednesday, October 2, 2024. The voluntary recall is focused on the battery packs of the products "XC2000 and XC3000 Series Vacuum Cleaner Sticks" – model XC2011 & XC3133 from PHILIPS. At this time, a small number of cases (4 cases which was 0.005% of the total products sold 73,662 pcs.) have been reported in EU of the battery pack overheating after it experienced a severe impact, such as a severe drop or series of drops. So far there is zero incidence in Malaysia, but we are offering the solution free of charge replacement of the battery. The risk evaluation of the manufacturer concludes at this time that the product-related risk is low. As a responsible company, DAP B.V. (a Versuni company, licensee of the brand PHILIPS) considers the safety of the users of its products of utmost importance and with our unwavering commitment to improve the quality and reliability of our products, DAP B.V. (Versuni) will perform a voluntary recall of the battery pack of these products in the market. |

Fisher Price is recalling the dumbbell toy in the Fisher-Price® Baby Biceps Gift Set. Fisher Price has received reports that the gray caps on the end of the dumbbell toy can come off, posing a choking hazard to infants. No injuries have been reported. Please immediately stop using the dumbbell toy, take it away from young children, and contact Fisher-Price to receive a refund. IKEA urges all customers who own a VARMFRONT power bank 10400 mAh (model number E2038) with date stamp (YYWW) 2313, 2316, 2318 or 2319, or a VARMFRONT power bank 5200 mAh (model number E2037) with date stamp (YYWW) 2318, 2319 or 2322, to immediately stop using it and contact IKEA for a replacement product, or a full refund. IKEA products are risk assessed and thoroughly tested to make sure that they can withstand the tough test of everyday life at home, and that they comply with applicable requirements and regulations in all markets where IKEA operates. Despite this, it has come to our attention that certain VARMFRONT power banks may pose a fire safety risk, due to a manufacturing error. This error is isolated to units with the before-mentioned date stamps. Therefore, these VARMFRONT power banks are being recalled. Customers who own such a product should immediately stop using it and contact IKEA for a replacement product, or a full refund. VARMFRONT power banks with other date stamps are not affected by this recall. Therefore, we are announcing a recall for repair action on LETTAN mirrors with a date stamp before and including 2105 (YYWW), due to the risk of breaking wall fittings. IKEA develops its products using a rigorous risk assessment and testing program, to make sure that the products live up to all applicable laws and standards on the markets where they are sold. Pirelli is issuing a voluntary recall for some of its 28-622 (700x28c) sized tubeless-ready (TLR) version of the P ZERO Race clincher bicycle tyre. Due to an issue which occurred from week 10 to week 24 of year 2023, some products might not guarantee 100% retention of inflation pressure on some rims currently on the market. This combination of rim – tyre – pressure, if not properly controlled and set up, might lead to an unsecure bead retention which may compromise the safety of the whole wheel system. For this reason, Pirelli recommends that consumers who purchased the Pirelli 28-622 (700x28c) sized tubeless-ready (TLR) version of the P ZERO Race bicycle tyre to check the tyre ID number and the production date code on the tyre sidewall. If consumers are in possession of one or more of the tyres indicated, consumers are urged to contact a preferred Pirelli authorized dealer for further instructions. |
