Every consumer has the right to demand safe goods and services. In the first place, it is always the responsibility of the manufacturers or suppliers to ensure that all products and services they produce or supply meet minimum safety requirements. Yet, incidents of non conformance to safety standards which result in defective products or low quality services may occur at any time along the supply chain.
